Frequently Asked Questions

What is copywriting (and what does a copywriter do)?

Copywriting is writing with a purpose—to get people to take action. A copywriter helps businesses communicate clearly, build trust, and guide potential customers to the next step, whether that’s booking a call, signing up for something, or making a purchase. It’s a mix of strategy, psychology, and the right words at the right time.

What does “optimized” mean when it comes to content?

Optimized content means it’s not just well-written—it’s working for you. I write content that’s designed to get results by combining strategy, psychology, and SEO.

Whether it’s a blog, website page, script, or email, I make sure your message is clear, your audience feels understood, and your content is easy for both humans and search engines to navigate. That’s what turns words into revenue.

What services do you offer?

I specialize in writing psychology-backed content that helps business owners connect with your ideal audience and convert more leads. My services include: SEO blogs, Website Copy, Ad & Reel Scripts, VSL Scripts, Email Campaigns, Social Media Messaging, Ghostwriting Services, and strategic consulting.

What’s the difference between DFY and DWY?

DFY = Done-For-You, I handle all the content creation so you can stay focused on other areas of your business.

DWY = Done-With-You, I guide you through strategy and execution—you stay involved but not overwhelmed.

What types of businesses do you work with?

I primarily work with service-based business owners who want their message to finally click with the right people. My clients are great at what they do—but they need their content to say it clearly, strategically, and persuasively so it actually converts.

I’ve partnered with professionals across a wide range of industries, including:

  • Business consultants and coaches

  • Healthcare providers and wellness practitioners

  • Home service businesses

  • Bookkeepers and financial professionals

  • Web and marketing agencies

  • Crypto and alternative investment platforms

  • Contractors and construction professionals

If you offer a real solution and want content that works harder so you don’t have to, we’re probably a great fit.

Why hire a freelancer rather than an employee?

Hiring a freelancer means flexible support without the overhead of onboarding, training, or long-term contracts. You get consistent results from a partner who brings strategy, structure, and copywriting expertise.

How much do your services cost?

My solutions start from just $47 for a content review and strategy and go from there based on project type. I offer packages and customized quotes so you get exactly what you need, and nothing you don’t. Blog packages and ongoing content support are also available. Check out the Services page for more details.

How long does it take to complete a project?

I keep things efficient and responsive, so most projects move quickly once we get started. Blog posts and scripts are often turned around within a day or two, and larger projects like website copy or brand messaging typically take 1–3 weeks depending on scope and feedback cycles. If you’re on a deadline, I do offer rush services—just let me know what you’re working with, and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

Why choose a human copywriter over AI tools?

AI tools are improving fast—but they still require a learning curve, strong prompts, and a lot of editing to get results that feel natural and connect with real people. What you save in money, you often spend in time and frustration.

A human copywriter brings nuance, strategy, and emotional understanding that AI can’t replicate. I make sure your content doesn’t just sound good—it feels right, builds trust, and is optimized for both humans and search engines. You get high-quality content without the trial-and-error, so you can focus on what you do best.

Can you work with my web designer?

Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with designers to make sure your messaging fits seamlessly into the layout and user experience. If you don’t already have a designer, I’m happy to recommend someone I trust.

Will you use my brand voice?

Absolutely. I take time to understand your brand’s tone, values, and personality—whether it’s bold and confident, calm and reassuring, or fun and approachable. My job is to write content that sounds like you, not me. If you already have a style guide or examples you love, I’ll use those to keep everything consistent.

Will my business information be kept private?

Yes—everything you share is treated as confidential. I don’t share details about your business, strategy, or internal materials without your permission. If needed, I’m happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Trust and discretion are part of how I do business.

Do you offer consulting or strategy services?

Yes—along with writing content, I offer consulting sessions to help you get clear on your messaging, offers, and overall content strategy. A great way to start is with a content review, where I evaluate your website, social media, or other materials and give you clear, actionable feedback. If you decide to move forward with more support, the cost of that review can be applied toward my full services. It’s a low-risk way to get expert insight and momentum.

I stay current on what’s working by staying connected to mentors, marketing and business communities, and the latest trends—so you get ideas that are both strategic and relevant.

What’s included in your content review and strategy session?

It’s a focused review of your existing content—across your website, blog, email, and social media—to see how well it’s working to attract and convert your ideal clients. I’ll pinpoint messaging gaps, missed opportunities, and areas to improve clarity, structure, and tone. You’ll get actionable recommendations customized to your goals—whether you want to DIY, get support, or hand it off completely.

What’s your process? What can I expect?

We’ll start with a quick conversation about your goals, audience, and what’s currently working (or not). From there, I’ll review any existing content and send over a proposal outlining the best approach. Once we agree on the scope, I’ll send a simple agreement and invoice to get started.

After that, I’ll handle the writing and check in with you at key points for feedback. You’ll always know what to expect, and together we’ll fine-tune the content until it’s clear, effective, and aligned with your brand. The entire process is straightforward, collaborative, and designed to get results without the stress.

How does payment work?

Once we finalize the scope of your project, I’ll send over a simple agreement and invoice. A deposit is required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of the content. I accept payments via credit card, ACH bank transfer, or Venmo—whatever works best for you. Everything is outlined clearly upfront so you know exactly what to expect.

How do I get started?

The easiest way to get started is to reach out through my contact form and let me know what you’re working on or where you feel stuck. If you’re not sure what you need yet, you can purchase a content review—it’s a focused, strategic evaluation of your current content, and it can be applied toward future services if you choose to move forward. Either way, you’ll walk away with clarity and actionable direction.

Ready to get your content working for you?

Whether you need a fresh strategy or just a second set of eyes, I’ve got you.
